クラムボンのヴォーカル原田郁子の待望の1stソロ作品。単独名義では初となるこのアルバムでは、共同プロデューサーとしてPolarisのギター大谷友介、ベースにLosaliosのTokieを、ドラムにはPolarisの坂田学が参加している。名曲「なみだ と ほほえむ」、ハナレグミの永積タカシ提供のナンバーを含む全10曲を収録。

クラムボンの時の曲調とはまったくちがう、原田郁子のソロアルバム。私はこちらの方が好きかな。もう、一曲どこかで聞いた時点で購入をきめちゃいました。１曲目のピアノソロがとてもきれい。彼女がプライベートでもおつきあいのあるアーティスト達と作ったというだけあって、彼女の自然体な感じが良く出ています。こういったアルバムは、本当に、長く、大切に聞き続けていけるものだと思います。一日がんばって、疲れた夜などに、いいですよ。そんなやさしい音楽です。

音響やしっとりしたプロデュースは２００３年以降のクラムボンだが、ピアノが楽しく鳴っているほんわかした曲調は２０００年の２nd「まちわび　まちさび」以前の雰囲気。ファン心理的に懐かしくてリラックスできた。エルトン・ジョンにもキャロル・キングにもベン・フォールズにも似ていない独特の甘ずっぱい安心感が流れる原田郁子の世界観がさらに煮詰められた感じなので、初期クラムボンのゆるめのバラードが好きな人なら、最近の本体よりも好きになるかもしれない。繊細な空気に弾むようなピアノと歌が流れる（１）が気に入れば、あとはスローバラード主体ですが心地よく聴きとおせるでしょう。なかなか、というか期待以上の出来。

何がいいって、ピアノの音がいいんです。
だってタイトルがピアノだもんね。で、そのピアノで奏でる曲の素晴らしい数々。そしてピアノを囲む仲間たちの音のあったかいこと。
ラストの『トゥインクル』でのASA-CHANGのにこやかなドラム、永積タカシの天から降り注がれるような美しいコーラスには何度聴いてもうっとり。
このセッションには笑顔が溢れてます。

いい音楽とは昼夜問わず、どんなときでも聴けて、知らぬ間に口ずさんでたり、思わず口笛が洩れてしまうようなもの。

小春日和なんかに寝転がって聴くのが一番最高だろな。
雑誌クウネルの世界にも通じるな。
こういうなんでもない自然な生活を送ってるのが一番幸福なんだよな。

そんな音楽。余計なもののない無添加な音楽。
血がさらさらになるような音楽。
ちと誉め過ぎ？
いや、ほんとにいいんだから。
