~ドニーは、バンドを抜けたデレクのギターを「フラッシーなギターにはもううんざりだ。曲がダメになる」みたいなことを言ってた事もあると思うけど、やっぱり最高の曲には最高のギターがないとって思いました。初期のズナフのアルバムはデレクのギターによって輝きを増していました。ギター弾きの自分には、ドニーのギターはお世辞にも曲を良くしているとは言~~いがたく、逆にイモっぽさが出ていてものすごく惜しい感じがしてましたが、このアルバムの音は、ホントに久しぶりに一流って感じに仕上がっています。デレクのギターは決して派手ではなく、すばらしいプレイで曲を引き立てています。

肝心の曲も、ポップで美しく切なくてお茶目でどことなく少し頼りなくて聞けば聞くほど、好きになっていきます。素直にこれが聞きたかったズナフアルバム。最高です。
だけどね。ただ一つだけ.....デレクはもういない...~

ここまで来るとそう言わざるを得ません
初めて聞く人にはどこか懐かしく、そして新鮮。
今まで聴いてきた人には良い意味でいつもどおり。

お気に入りのバンドがいつもどおりのミュージックを
提供してくれるってのはファンにとってはとても
ありがたい＆嬉しいことです。

どの曲もイナフ・ズナフであり
それ以外の何ものでもない

キャッチ、ポップ、ダーク、ロック、バラード
このバンドにはこの全てがつまっています。

ENUFF Z'NUFF is GOOD!!

5.0 out of 5 stars アルバムタイトル"？"の真意は？, 2004/8/18
ドニーの脱退騒動（ドニー抜きの３人でのツアー活動）、リッキーの癌（現在、療養中）…
そんな中、ドニー、チップ、デレク、ヴィッキーの初期メンバーで作成されたこのアルバム。デモ音源等の既発音源も含まれ、純粋な新作ではないようだ。（一部、再録の様子）

ドニー＆チップが曲を作り、ドニーが歌うという従来のスタイルの上にデレクのギター、ヴィッキーのドラムがのっている…
楽曲そのもののクオリティは変わっていないだろう。しかし、「Tweaked」以降の楽曲群とは輝きがまるで違う。

特筆すべきは、一聴して分かるデレクのギター。どんどん入手困難になる初期３作の楽曲群の輝きは、ドニー＆チップの作曲能力に加え、デレクのギターによるものが大きかったかのも知れない。

しかし、デレクはもういない…

冒頭に書いた騒動があったからこそ、デレク、ヴィキーの復帰につながったのだろうが、もっと早くこの４人に戻ることはできなかったのだろうか？
モナコファンの方がいれば申し訳ないが、モナコのギターでは、この輝きは産まれない。しかし、デレクはもういない。ドニーとチップも分かっているだろう。
これからEnuff Z'nuffはどうなってしまうのだろう？
