【映画情報】 『誰も知らない Nobody　Knows』
シネカノン有楽町他にて2004年8月7日(土)公開。渋谷シネアミューズ他全国順次公開予定。

ストーリー：都内の2DKアパートで大好きな母親と幸せに暮らす4人の兄妹。しかし彼らの父親はみな別々で、学校にも通った事がなく、3人の妹弟の存在は大家にも知らされていなかった。ある日、母親はわずかな現金と短いメモを残し、兄に妹弟の世話を託して家を出る。この日から、誰にも知られることのない4人の子どもたちだけの“漂流生活”が始まる…。

「誰も知らない」初日に見てきました。マキシシングルで発売されているので、誤解があるようですが、これが誰も知らないのサウンドトラック全5曲収録です。映画の本編ではこのCDに入っている曲がメインに話に沿って、流れています。予告映画でタテタカコの「そら」（挿入歌）が流れているので耳に残るのですが、本編ではこちらがメインです。ゴンチチと是枝さんは以前からのつきあいで、映像と音楽が違和感なく一体化しています。1は、寂しく切なくながれる主題歌「誰も知らない」。弦の音とストリングが時に悲しく、時に少し浮遊感をもって、流れ、この映画が伝えたい言葉で言い尽くせない思いを映像が引き立つ形で表現しています。2「ひみつ」弦も高音が使われていて、子どもたちのほのぼのとした様子が目に浮かんでくる曲です。けなげに生きていく子どもたちと見事に合っていました。3「えんそく」は、子どもたちが部屋から飛び出していくシーンに使われていたはず。派手やかではないですが、ほのぼのした中にも明るさが感じられるほっとする曲です。

4「やくそく」は、このサントラの中でもっともしんみりとした曲。そるにそっとさびしくといった感じで、アコースティックの音と柳楽くんがだぶってきそうです。5再び「誰も知らない」Toy　Piano　Versionですが、あくまで主体はGONTITIのアコースティックの音で、やはりこの曲が「誰も知らない」の主題歌だと改めて感じました。音楽だけでも楽しめますが、やはり映画を見て欲しい。曲を聴きながら映画シーンが柳楽くんが想像の世界でよみがえってきます。

ゴンチチの音楽はとても不思議で、個人的には彼らの音楽は「癒し」ではないと思っています。
たぶん、「無能の人」の印象が個人的に強いのでしょう。

映画音楽としては、映画のリアルな怖さがウクレレで薄められているのか（あるいは際立ってしまっているのか）少し違和感を感じてしまいます。

映画のコピーは「おとなではないこども」をアピールしていたので、あのシンプルでのびやかな旋律が表しているのは柳楽優弥以下珠玉の子役たちに違いないとは思うのですが……良い意味でも悪い意味でも現実味がないのです。

是枝監督の狙いがそういった矛盾のようなものを提示したかったのなら、個人的には成功だと思います。
不思議なサントラでした。

コンビニのお姉さんの歌が入ってないのは、なんとなくこれで良かった気もします。
