このメーカーについて

 『レゴ』という語は、上手に遊ぶという意味のデンマーク語leg godtに由来している（ラテン語で『レゴ』とは、組み立てるという意味がある）。レゴ社は、大工であったOle Kirk Christiansen氏がデンマークのビルンに設立した。当初木工所を開設した彼は、1932年に木工玩具の製作を開始。1947年に同社は最初のプラスチック製玩具となるおもちゃのがらがらやトラクターなどを制作した。現在のレゴブロックの前身となるものが発売されたのは1949年のこと。同社は、息子の代に変わっていた1958年に結合可能ブロックを発売し、売り上げを飛躍的に伸ばした。レゴは、無限に広がる遊び方の可能性があること、男女を問わずあらゆる世代が楽しめること、健康的で静かにかつ長時間遊べることなどを含む、10項目の定義に基づいて開発されている。

潜水艇やヨット、水上艇などを作れるセット。
あまり大きいパーツが無く小さめの作品を作るのに向いている。
船底などに使えるパーツやナナメにカットされた黄色いパーツなどが充実。
1ポチのパーツも沢山入っている。
奇数で入ってるパーツが多かったので多少の組みにくさは感じた。

レゴは、映画シリーズなどたくさんありますが、このレゴは映画シリーズでもないので自分専用のストーリーが作れます。
それに作るのが好きな人にもお勧めです。
