　ボクシング界に実在した女性プロモーターを、メグ・ライアンが熱演。私的には「イン・ザ・カット」よりこちらのほうがメグの魅力が出ており面白かった。衣装もシーン毎に変わり、画面に華をそえました。
　物語もしっかりと作られており、男社会の中でひたすら耐えがんばる、ジャッキー・カレン(実在の人物。メイキングに出てきます。映画にも1シーン出てますよ)をメグ・ライアンが好演。やや出来すぎのストーリー(実話とは違いかなり脚色してある模様)ですが、最後の宿敵プロモーターとの決着のつけ方は面白かった。気持ちの良いラストでした。日本劇場未公開が不思議な作品。お勧めの１本です。

最近のメグさん出演作では出色の出来ではないでしょうか。
時にクールな押さえ気味の演技で新しい面を見せてくれます。
特典で見た実話の主人公の姿とは大違いで（メグさんと比べれば当たり前だが）面白かった。

先日、海外からの帰りの飛行機で上映されていました。上映は深夜だったのですが、食い入るように見てしまい、寝不足となりました。

いつものメグ・ライアン流の、ひたむきな女性のかわいらしさと、ちょっと図に乗った時の嫌みさ？が上手く調和されていて、メグラーには必見の作品です。「ＧＯＬＤＥＮ　ＬＯＴＵＳ」で探していたんですが、ようやく見つけました。日本語の吹き替えで見たのですが、今度は字幕でゆっくり楽しみます。
