4.0 out of 5 stars やっぱりスポコンはいいよね, 2004/9/27
弱小チームが努力の末に強くなっていくという、スポコン物の王道を行く作品。主人公のゴードンは勝つためには手段を選ばない敏腕弁護士。
その彼がいやいや少年ホッケーチームのコーチをやることになる。
話の展開はとにかく王道を行ってというか、予定調和と言うか伏線はすべておもった通りにまとまるんだけれども、逆に安心してみれます。
「ああやっぱり！」と思いながらも感動するし、欲を言えばちょっと詰め込み過ぎかも。
とにかく誰でも安心してオススメのできる良作なのは間違いナシです。

主人公の敏腕弁護士ゴードンは、勝つ為ならば手段を選ばないと言う非情な一面を持っていた。そう、担当した裁判が敗訴し、酔った勢いで起こした信号無視の代償として自らは社会福祉の為、弱小ホッケーチームを優勝に導くはめになるまでは…。
原則的にはスポコン物の王道を行く作品ですが、主人公のゴードンが子供の頃はホッケーの熱血名選手で、ミスショットを出した事から非情な弁護士になった過去を持っている事等、背景が丁寧に描かれており大人にも楽しめます。また、昔の熱血さを取り戻したゴードンと、彼の先生だった男が率いるチームとの因縁の対決など随所に見所があるので、結果は分かっていても最後まで退屈しない作品です。
