68〜70年、各地で行ったライブの記録ですが前半はBig Brother、後半が主にFull Tiltをバックにしたものです。今の耳で聴くと、斬新さはあるものの安定感に欠けるBig Brotherに比べ、力強く堅実なサポートをみせるFull Tiltとの楽曲が充実しており、特に"Move over"、"Get it while you can"や"Kozmic blues"などはスタジオものとは一味違う、貴重な記録として魅力を感じています。
観衆とのやり取りも含め、Janisが満足げに演奏をリードしていく会場の空気がよく伝わってきます。大きなアクションと満足げな笑みをまじえながら繰り広げられたライブであったことでしょう。
これを聴くと、Janisの他界がようやくにして安住の地を手にしかけた矢先だったことが実感され、今更ながら残念でなりません。
但し、最近は彼女のオリジナル版にライブ音源が加えられたバージョンが何枚か出ていますので、本作の価値も発売時に比べて若干低下しているかもしれません。
