　前出のmoritoさんのレビューとほぼ同意見なので、あまり書くことはありません。

　ただ、公開時は超大作扱いだったのが、興行的にはモロこけてしまったのを記憶しています。B級として観るほうがむしろ安心できます。

　なお、プロデューサーのピーター・グーバーは後にこの映画を製作したコロムビアがSONY傘下に入ったとき、散々SONYを食い物にした悪徳プロデューサーとしてつとに有名になりました。

　あと、ジョン・バリーのサントラ盤の復刻を希望します。

オープニングの海の美しさには、思わず息を飲みます。「ジョーズ」の著者ピーター・ベンチリーの小説の映画化。公開当時のTVスポットでは海中でジャクリーン・ビセットの腕が謎の生物に引っぱられるシーンがヘヴィー・ローテーションで流され、劇中では大して意味のないそのスリリングなシーンがこの映画の目玉となってしまいました。ハネムーンでバミューダを訪れたカップルが麻薬組織の陰謀に巻き込まれながら宝探しをするというサスペンス・アドヴェンチャーですが、大袈裟すぎるシーンが無いことがかえってリアルだと思います。クライマックスではほんとにハラハラしました。ジョン・バリーのテーマ曲と、ドナ・サマーの歌う「Down Deep Inside」、ベケットの「Disco Calypso」など音楽も印象的です。ロバート・ショウとルイーズ・ゴセットが味のあるいい演技をしています。ジャクリーン・ビセットの神秘的な美しさも必見！
