   日本インダストリアル・デザイナーの巨匠、柳宗理（Sori Yanagi）。オリンピックの聖火台や家具、食器、カトラリーなど、作品広範囲に及ぶ。1952年、柳工業デザイン研究会を設立。以来、一貫して「使いよさ」を追及し続ける。その思想には、父であり日本民芸運動の中心的存在であった柳宗悦の影響も少なくない。鍋の持ち手、キッチンツールのカーブ。それら一つ一つが、立体模型により実際に使い勝手を検証しながら生み出されていく。ストイックなまでに贅をそぎ落とし、フォルム、使いやすさ、美しさ、すべてにおいて洗練されたものだけが残る。

ルクルーゼと散々悩みましたがこちらを購入しました。
決め手はタイトルどおり和洋中選ばないかなぁ。と。

購入して正解です。
○揚げ物OK
○煮物OK
○鍋物OK

汁物では水炊き、キムチ鍋、豆乳鍋、ホワイトシチューでも
なんでも料理が映えてそのまま食卓にだすことができます。
串かつパーティも盛況でした。

欠点といえば鉄鍋なので火を通さずに24時間ほどほっておくと
錆び？がでてきてしまうことでしょうか。

鉄鍋ということで、熱の保持がいいようで、一度鍋に火が通ると
ながいことさめません。あとは深さがあるので、ちょっと大きいもの
（丸の鶏とか）の蒸焼きとかには使えます。

他の方のレビューでもありましたが、ちょっと気を抜くと
赤い錆が浮いてくるので、使ったあとは、かならず薄く油を
塗るようにしてました。中華なべを一緒の扱いです。
ちょっとめんどくさい。

あとはすごく重いので、奥さんは洗いにくい様子。
だいたい私が洗って、後の処理をおこなっています。

ルクルーゼのココットロンドの20cmも持っていますが、
扱いやすさではルクルーゼの方が上手。洗いやすいし
洗ったあとの手間もかからないです。

気分で使い分けていますが、蒸焼きやローストビーフなどの
際には柳宗理を使うことが多いかな。スープとかですと
そのまま、いれっぱなしにしておくと、鉄と具の相性からか
色がかわってくることもありました。なので、スープは
ルクルーゼを使うことがおおいです。

手間がかかる分、すごく愛着沸くのがこの柳宗理の
鉄鍋だと思います。豪快な肉料理にどうぞ。

鉄鍋とはかわいがって使っていくキッチン用具と思います。

ステンレスと比べれば明らかに使いづらい、片付けづらい、錆びる、などなど。

しかしながら、使い続ける事によりどんどん自分の一部になっていくような気がします。

鍋としては決して安くは無いがしっかりと管理さえすれば一生使える。

高いととるか安いととるか････

ちなみに星が一つ無いのは万能鍋ではないからです。

万能である必要も無いですしね。
