   工業デザイナーのパイオニア的存在として知られ、ニューヨーク近代美術館やルーブル美術館などに作品が永久保存されていることでも有名な柳宗理。「柳式デザイン」をキッチンツールやカトラリーにまで広げた製品群は、そのデザイン的な美しさはもちろんのこと、機能性においても高い評価を受けている。

   こちらの製品はステンレス製のバタービーター。フライ返し（ターナー）のように使ってもいいし、「ビーター」と言うだけあって泡立て器としても使えて便利。ソースを作るときや、焼いたあとにソースを絡めたりするときなどにも重宝する。

   柳宗理デザインならではのシンプルで柔らかいフォルムは、美しいだけでなく手にもなじみやすい。柄の部分に加えられたカーブがもたらす使い勝手のよさもうれしい。余計な継ぎ目などがない一体成形もポイント。ターナーやレードルといった他のキッチンツールとは柄と先端部の比率が違うのだが、並べても何ら違和感のないデザイン性はさすが。（櫻田もんがい）


メーカーについて

   日本インダストリアル・デザイナーの巨匠、柳宗理（Sori Yanagi）。オリンピックの聖火台や家具、食器、カトラリーなど、作品広範囲に及ぶ。1952年、柳工業デザイン研究会を設立。以来、一貫して「使いよさ」を追及し続ける。その思想には、父であり日本民芸運動の中心的存在であった柳宗悦の影響も少なくない。鍋の持ち手、キッチンツールのカーブ。それら一つ一つが、立体模型により実際に使い勝手を検証しながら生み出されていく。ストイックなまでに贅をそぎ落とし、フォルム、使いやすさ、美しさ、すべてにおいて洗練されたものだけが残る。
   日本発、世界のモダン・デザイン。使うことの美しさがここにある。

弾力があって、しなります。しなり具合が使いやすい!はじめてみたときは、金属部分が熱くなるんじゃないかと不安だったけど、そんなことはぜんぜんありません。これを初めて買って感動して、ぞくぞくと柳宗理デザインの調理器具にはまってます。

見た目がシンプル！キッチンにあるとオシャレ!
思ったより大きい印象です。
お鍋のふちに引っかけられないのが初め不便に感じていましたが
持ち手を焦がしたりする心配もなく、その分丈夫で清潔です。
ちょっとテフロン加工の鍋にはキズつかないように気を使ってます。
