この方が、現在の日本の歌謡界の基礎を作られたと言っていいだろう。

あの歌謡界の女王、美空ひばりがリスペクトしたのが、笠置さんなので
ある。歌謡界の女王がブギの女王に憧れて、この歌の世界に入ったんだ
から、この笠置シヅ子は、最高に偉大な歌手であり、永遠に歌謡界
の歴史において語られていくだろう。（美空ひばりも同様である。）

「東京ブギウギ」も勿論名曲ですが、「大阪ブギウギ」や「買物ブギ
ー」など関西弁が上手い笠置さんの歌い方と、歌唱力の高さは、文句の
付け様が無い、正に実力派歌手である。

追伸、笠置さんは、笑福亭鶴瓶師匠によく似ておられますが、鶴瓶さん
も冗談で僕のおかんですとギャグで言っていたのですが、それをテレビ
で観ていた笠置さんも、私の息子ですと冗談で言っていたのが、意外と
知られていないエピソードですし、お2人共に洒落た方であると思いま
す。

レコード録音しか残してらっしゃらない笠置シヅ子さんの曲は、
復刻版で聞くとレコードを聴いているようなノスタルジックな感じがして昭和の香り楽しめます。
歌声もパンチが効いていて元気が出ました(*^^)v
