月に始まり、太陽で終わる。
いつの時代も佐野元春のロックンロール魂は、決して死なない。
この時代にこれほど鳴り響くアルバムを私は知らない。
本当にポップで、大人のグッド･ロックンロール。
そして聴き終わった時、｢SOMEDAY｣｢VISITORS｣｢TIME OUT!｣｢sweet16｣といった
かつての名作にもう一度会いたくなる。時代が輪を描く。

故きを温ねて新しきを知った佐野元春の、新作にして名盤。
この時代をノックする名盤。

今回のアルバムは最近のアルバムの中では最もできがよいと思います。最近の佐野元春は混沌としていて、迷いを感じていました。このアルバムは、突き抜けた印象のあるアルバムです。歌詞、メロディーともに成熟していると思います。「ガラスの~」や「SOMEDAY」を聞いて大人になった人が、２０年経ってこのアルバムを聞くことによって、新しいソウルで日々過ごせることができる可能性があります。私は車で大声で歌いながら運転してます。すばらしい！

ブルーワーカー（「恵みの雨」）や離婚したシングルマザー（「レイナ」）など、景気停滞下の弱者の苦境と希望などまでをも歌い上げた今回のアルバムは、いままでになかった、30、40代のためのファンキーなロックンロール・アルバムですね。両方ともすばらしい名曲であるスタート曲「月夜を往け」からエンディング曲「太陽」までの流れは滑らかで、かつ感動的です。
ちなみに「月夜を往け」、「君の魂　大事な魂」はリミックスがシングル・ヴァージョンとはちがいます。

CDのみならず、DVDもいいです。約33分ですが、レコーディング・セッションのみならず、佐野さんの「呼庵」での厳かな独白、そして「君の魂　大事な魂」などのコンサート・ライヴ演奏も記録しています。
