敵対関係にあったエルリック兄弟とスカーが
一時的だが共闘する第２４話が気に入っている。
身内であるはずの国家錬金術師達の暗躍に気づき始めたエドに
対して、自分の存在を疑うあまりに自暴自棄気味のアルの対比も
後に大きな伏線となるはずである。
特に因縁の相手である死刑囚ナンバー達との戦闘は燃える。

新たなオートメイル探求のためにウィンリィが旅に加わるのも面白い。
が、ヒューズ少佐の殉職は原作同様、やはり残念でならない。
職務と家族を秤にかけた、彼なりの正義の結果だったのだが
…惜しいキャラを亡くした。
彼の家族に対する愛情は、エド達にも多大な影響を与えたはずである。

なんといっても、『別れの儀式』。ヒューズの調査部としての頭のきれ観察力、行動の早さ、気遣い・・さすがです。ロイのよき理解者だけあるなあとヒューズの存在感の大きさが感じられます。そして、ＥＤ。ぶっちゃけ映画です。あの終わりかたは壮大な映画！音楽が流れた瞬間なんとも言えません。エリシアちゃんの台詞に我慢できずに涙しました。

大人の方が見ても十分楽しめる作品です。
そして・・・このＤＶＤの裏鋼・・・いったいどんな風に！？

やはり＜別れの儀式＞ですね。凄く泣いてしまいました。キャラが死ぬのは凄く辛いです。ロイの涙のシーンもぐっときました。原作のイメージが崩れていなくてよかったです。

原作とアニメはストーリーが違うのでビックリです。リアルタイムで見ることができないので本当にＤＶＤ発売が待ち遠しいです。ウラハガネ、４コマもとてもおもしろいのでテレビで見ている方にもぜひぜひ買ってほしいと思います。
初回の特典ディスクもっと映像いれてほしかったなー。
