他の方も仰ってますが、精度が低すぎます。
説明書には誤差±2〜4kgと書いてありますが、スポーツジムの精度の高い握力計で計ったものよりも10kgほど低く出ました。他の人にも使わせてみたところ、同じく10kgほど下回った結果が出たので間違いではないです。ちょっとショックですね･･･　TANITAなので信用して買ったのですが、やはりもっと高い握力計でないと正確な数値は出ないのかもしれませんね。

この握力計で計ったところ高校で使われているものより１０kgほど低い結果が出た。その道では精度が低いことで有名らしく、正確な数値を知りたいなら他社の製品を買うべきとのこと。

精度が低いとおっしゃっている方がおりますが、全然そんなことないです。
むしろ他の握力計の数値が高く出すぎているからこの握力計の数値が低くでていると感じているのではないでしょうか。
実際にダンベルをぶら下げたりしてみましたがちゃんとその重さの数値になりました。
この握力計が安い理由は精度ではなくて単純にプラスチック製だから安いのだと思われます。
ハリの部分はすぐに壊せそうですが握る部分とかはわりと頑丈にできているので耐久性については壊そうとしない限り壊れないと思うので大丈夫です。
