待ちに待ったSILVASCREEN 　Barry Grayシリーズ第三弾は『Thunderbirds２』！
くどいようですが、本物です！劇中で使用された本物のBarry GrayのＢＧＭなのですよ♪決してまがい物ではありませんからね。
今回もデジタルブラッシュアップで高音質・高品質の出来栄えです。
いやー、素晴らしい　幼少の頃より夢見てきたBarry GrayのサウンドトラックＣＤが手元にあるなんて、本当に夢のようです。
今は無きイマイ科学の模型片手に口ずさみ遊んだあの名曲たちが我手元にあるなんて、幸せの極致です（微笑）。
今回はサンダーバードらしい(劇中で非常に印象的に使われている)音楽 情景描写　事件の発端　危機一髪　などのシーンに印象的に使われ、記憶に焼き着いている名曲たちがこのＣＤできけるのです。
子供の頃からとても印象的だったエンパイヤステートビル移動の音楽(でかくて長細い物に使われていましたよね、火星ロケットなどにも)が収録されていたのが、私的には大変収穫でした(テンポ速いんだよね何故か(^^;))。

それとなんとあの勇ましい火星ロケットのテーマ曲が収録されています。
海底大戦争(スティングレイ)の流用曲と聞いていたので、サンダーバードのアルバムには収録されないだろうと考えていたのでとても嬉しかった。同じく流用曲と聞いているオーシャンパイオニア号で使われたメロディも収録されています。

懐かしさに咽ぶ人も、ディープなマニアも何も考えず買って、聴いてください、聴き入ってください。
子供の頃に心躍らせた、血沸き肉踊るBarry Grayのサントラを堪能してください。生きててよかった~~~って、心のそこから思うこと請け合いですよ。
次回はスペース１９９９が９月にリリースされるようですね。
SILVASCREEN さん、このまま順調にBarry Grayの全作品出してくださいよ。スペースの次はなんだろ…期待に胸がはちきれそうですよ（笑）。

今回は発売予告からそれほど待たなくてもすみましたね。しかし、第１弾が出て今回の第２弾発売を改めて思えば、いまから数年前まではとても考えられない企画が実現しちゃったわけで・・・
高まる興奮を押さえつつCDマシンに挿入してみれば、おぉ、今回はパパのカウントダウン抜きでオープニングっすか？ でも、うーん、同じ演奏形態のテーマ入れるんだったら、できれば第1話のメインテーマが欲しかったし、トラック26も先回のと同じものじゃなくて、第2話以降の演奏形態のものにしてほしかったですね。
さて、メインテーマに続いて今回はどんな攻め方で来るのかと思いきや、トラック2でいきなりのお気に入りが登場！もともとは「スティングレー」のBGMだけど、トラック22も含め、私の世代ではすっかり「サンダーバード」のBGMという印象が強いですね。そうそう、トラック15も「スーパーカー」の流用ですが、これも「サンダーバード」のBGMという印象が強いですね。そういえばTBの「The Cham-Cham」や、「人間爆弾」(UFO)、「赤い太陽、最後の日没」(Space:1999)でも使用された「スティングレー」の美しいBGMは今回ありませんでしたが、この9月にSilvaより発売予定の「Space:1999」がかつてファンダーソンで発売されていたCDと同じ内容になれば、それでゲットできるはずです。
ライナーにはバリーグレイ氏のバイオグラフィーが途中まで記されていますが、完結は「Space:1999」のCDライナーに記されるそうで、Silvaさん、しっかり商売してます。しかし9月ってちょっと早すぎませんか・・・？
ボーナストラックの「フライング・ハイ」は以前、インターネットの「バリーグレイミュージックサンプラー」で紹介されたバージョンのほうがかっこいいと思うけど・・・
まぁ、なにはともあれ、この高音質でこの価格！本編鑑賞時には台詞や効果音の背後に隠れてしまっていたりF/I、F/O処理ではっきりしなかったアレンジ部分なんか、とっても新鮮！！ファン必携の1枚ですな。

今回の２部作、私くらいの年代ではまさに待望の品！
昨年発売のＤＶＤボックスと合わせて、まさに最初の放送に戻った感じです。
ＮＨＫの再放送も「日本語の主題歌←東京12ｃｈバージョン」だったのでがっかりしていたのです。
今回の第２作は聞き覚えのある曲が多くて、なかなか楽しいものでした。
でも、やはり第１作と合わせて「２枚組」と考えた方がいいかも。
