   2001年ロック・イン・リオ・フェスティバルでの記念的作品だ。アイアン・メイデンは、この演奏で、空前絶後ののヘヴィ・メタル・バンドだというだけではなく、全盛期と同じようなギターを掻きむしるライヴが今でもできることバンドであることを証明してみせた。イギリス出身の6人組は、25万人の観客を奴隷のように2時間とりこにした。「ザ・ウィッカー・マン」をオープニングで叩きつけ、ほぼ30年間にわたる神話的で超自然的なハードロック物語がすすんでいく。「ザ・マーシネリー」「明日なき戦い」「ジ・イーヴル・ザット・メン・ドゥ」「魔力の刻印」、そしておなじみの「誇り高き戦い」でショーは幕を閉じる。ライヴ映像はベーシストのスティーブ・ハリスによる編集だ。自分のバンドのリズムに合わせているのは明らかで、音楽同様に大胆不敵なビジュアルになっている。2枚目のディスクでは、たとえば、ブルース・ディッキンソンのフェンシングと飛行機操縦への偏愛ぶりなど、ロックンロールから離れたオフステージでのメンバーを50分間堪能できる。短編映画「A Day in the Life」と、短いグループ・インタビュー、バンドのカメラマンであるロス・ハルフィンの写真日記が、ボーナス・トラックを締めくくっている。（Kevin Filipski, Amazon.com）

ブルースディッキンソン、エイドリアンスミスが復活し、トリプルギターの６人編成になったアイアンメイデンによる2002年、ブラジルリオでのライブを収録したＤＶＤです。選曲は当時の最新アルバムであるブレーブニューワールドからの曲が最も多くなっていますが、人気曲がほぼ収録されたベスト盤的選曲になっています。ライブバンドとして定評のあるメイデンだけに見所・聴所は多いのですが、３つ挙げると、観客を煽るため、会場を走り回り、飛びはねるディッキンソンのパワフルさ、ディッキンソンにあおられる２５万大観衆の熱気、そしてトリプルギターにベースを加えたフロントの４人がひとかたまりとなってモニタースピーカに足を載せてプレイする姿の鳥肌ものの格好よさでしょうか。カット割が多く、ギターソロが充分に見れない等の欠点もあるのですが、それを補って余りあるスピード感、迫力溢れる格好いいライブ映像になっています。ＨＭファンには是非体験頂きたいＤＶＤです。

来日公演の曲目とさほど変わらないが、ステージセットの豪華さと２５万人のオーディエンスの大合唱を聞くと、別のバンドのように感じられるぐらい迫力があります。編集もスピード感がありライブの臨場感が伝わってきました。
