5.0 out of 5 stars クラシックとジャズの素晴らしい混血児, 2004/9/22
アムランには不可能な演奏という事がないのだろうか。
クラシックの超絶技巧の難曲を軽く弾きこなしているように聴こえてしまう。彼の手にかかれば、リズムの難しいジャズも自由自在の本領発揮、カプースチンは正に彼の領分のように見えます。
まさに神の手。当分、彼の右に出る人は現れないでしょう。
カプースチンが初めての方にぜひお勧めします。

音の美しさ、粒のそろった音、ダイナミックな演奏、クラシックのエレガントさ、ジャズの色気、クラシックとジャズの世紀の混血児！カプースチンとアムランの絶妙なコンビ！
きっと、このジャンルの21世紀の歴史的な一枚となることでしょう。
ジャンルを超えた「粋」の極みと言えます。
私はこの一枚を絶対に忘れないと思います。

とにかく「８つの演奏会用エチュード」が聞きたくて、待ちに待ったＣＤでした。最初から最後まで、アムランの「千手観音」的超絶技巧と、エネルギーに圧倒されました。カプースチンを知ってる人も知りたい人も必聴です。ただし、聴く側も元気でないと、ほんとに圧倒されます（笑）。

JAZZ市場のﾋﾟｱﾉﾄﾘｵ偏重のお陰で様々な新人・旧人を耳に出来るようになった昨今、却ってCLASSICのﾋﾟｱﾉの方が斬新に聴こえたり、即興性を感じたりすることがあります。これもたまたまﾚｺｰﾄﾞ屋（って今は言わないのかな？）で試聴してみて惹かれた1枚。技量が頭抜けているのは言うまでも無いのだろうけれど、ホントはこの人JAZZの人なんじゃないの？と訝しく思える瞬間も。JAZZ好きにもお薦めできること請け合い。
しかし、それにしても広い世の中には桁外れにうまい人がいるもんですねえ････。
