この一枚によってディルはさらに進んでいった気がします。

「Machiavellism」では爆発的ともいえるアルバム「VULGAR」のスタイルを継承しつつ、
新たなカッコよさを求めてそれを突き詰めていった感じがしました。

そして「朔-saku-」ではヴォーカルの声域の広さにただただ圧倒されるばかりでした。
切ないまでの裏声、たたみかけるような高音域。
今までとは一線を画する歌唱表現に、
歌詞だけでは表せない胸に響くものを感じました。

研ぎ澄まされたような――言葉を選ばずに言ってしまえば鋭利な刃物の感すら漂う曲調に、
彼ららしさを感じさせる独特のメロディーが、そうさせるのでしょうか？

兎にも角にも、こうしている間にも彼らは進化を、続けている。
洋楽を意識した、彼らの進む先に何があるのか。
そう期待させる彼らの新機軸。
これから先が本当に楽しみです。

お聞きになられればおわかりになると思いますが、表題曲の「朔」は2曲目で、1曲目は爽快なディル流ロックンロールナンバー「Machiavellism」です。だけど、確かに「朔」を2曲目にもってきててよかったと思います。しょっぱなから「朔」は、非常に心臓に悪いですから・・(苦笑)。ですが、その完成度は凄まじいの一言。メロは叫び、サビで華麗に歌うという「脈」から始まった独自のスタイルがより進化を遂げて、よりヘヴィになってその姿を表しました。その激しさといったら、まさに圧倒的です!こんな曲、彼ら以外には作れません!「Machiavellism」も、非常にノリのいいロックンロールですが、ここでも彼らの溢れんばかりにオリジナリティーがソリッドに表現されています。3曲目にはライブのオープニングでおなじみの「G.D.S」が収録されてます。これを聞くと、嫌でもテンションが上がります!(噂によると、リハの時のを収録しているらしい・・。)非常に激しいものばかりなので、一回聞いて狂っちゃって下さい!

あいかわらずカッコ良すぎでした！
このバンドには最高よりも最強という言葉が
似合うと思います。
聴けば聴くほどハマります。
絶品。
