ハスキーで伸びのある声が素晴らしいです。
セルタブはオペラを本格的に勉強していただけあって、本当に歌が上手いです。
このアルバムは初の全曲英語アルバムらしいです。
でも英語の曲もいいですが、トルコ語の曲の方が好きです。

個人的な一番のお勧めは「Here I am」！
とても印象に残る歌で、気が付くとフレーズが頭をめぐってしまいます。
この人の歌をわかりやすく例えるなら「トルコの安室奈美恵」といった感じでしょうか。端々にトルコを感じさせる曲調ですが、それらが心地よく自然に耳に入ってきます。

2003年5月25日リガで行われたユーロヴィジョン・コンテストでグランプリを取ったというだけあり、歌唱力は文句なし！
買ってよかった！と思うCDでした。

今更なレビューですが・・・

訳1年前の作品なんですね・・・もっとたっていると思いましたが。

箪笥のイメージソングにもなったHere I Amga気に入って購入したのですが、.Here I Am以外みんな微妙です。
何か彼女の歌声と歌い方が曲に合っていないというか。。。
Here I Amが良くて他のもういいだろうと思って買った私としては残念です。
次はもっとセルタブの声を生かした歌が聞きたいです！次に期待したいです。

歌も曲もなかなかです。ラテン系の曲なので、冬は聞きたいとは思わないけど。人生経験豊富そうな歌声です。この人はいくつなの？みたいな。
