ものすごいメジャーな感じのするアルバムです。
その分エアロスミスの艶っぽさはあまりないです。
でも一枚のアルバムとしてはそんなに悪いものではないと思います。
やっぱり"エアロ"という先入観が評価をよくないものにしているのではないでしょうか。
音楽はもっと気楽に楽しみましょう。

大ヒット作「Miss A Thing」が発売されてから、一番初めに出たオリジナルアルバムになる作品。
その大ヒットを気にしたのか、それともそんなのは関係無しにこうなったのかはわかりませんが、エアロの中でも一番ポップなアルバムです。
当時「Miss A Thing」にはまった僕は夢中になって聴いたものですが、今になってみると何かが足りない気が。
最新のデジタル技術を駆使して作られた楽曲たちはとても良いのですが、ライヴが一番の魅力であるエアロにとって大切なライヴ感が足りないように感じます。

メンバーの中でも、寡黙で硬派のG.ブラッドはインタヴューで「一人一人部屋にこもって録音したものを、加工して繋ぎ合わせたアルバムなんてゴメンだ」のようなことを言って、このアルバムを批判していました。
そのため昔からのエアロファンにはあまり良い評価をされていないアルバムですが、２、７、隠しトラックではメンバーの家族が参加していたりで、デジタルながらも温かみのあるアルバムです。
特にお勧めなのは幻想的でコーラスが美しい６、スティーヴンのヴォーカルがきまっている９ですね。
ポップで丸い感じのエアロを聴きたい方にお勧め。

昔AUTOGRAPHというバンドのアルバムで似たのがあった。
４のバラードはシングル・カットされたのに全然売れなかった
らしいんだけどエアロのバラードの中では一番好き。
歌詞もグッとくるんだけどなぁ~。３もエアロらしくないんだ
けどやっぱりサビのメロディがいい。ホンキンのツアーでも
この曲だけは演っていた。いいアルバムです。
