実はわたくし、このＤＶＤを持っているんですが、ホント感動・感動の連続ですよ！　Player一人ひとりの表情がまたイイ！
　そして、演奏も勿論、会場にいる人達が（あきれるという意味でなく、スゴく上手すぎて）口を開けている事に神経がいかないほどイイー！　コイツは是非2ＤＶＤも買って、観て・聴いて頂きたい作品です！

”ハイクオリティ”・・・このヒトコトに尽きる
アルバムです。

　出だしのＯＬＥＯから猛烈なスピード感で、
ライブならではの迫力がとてもすばらしく、直ぐに
引き込まれること間違い無しです！

　もう何年も前の録音ですが、本当にレベルの高い
音楽というのは、どんなに時を経ても色褪せないと
いうことを、如実に証明しているアルバムです。

是非、聴いてみてください。

このライブ前年の９２年に発表されたGRPオールスタービッグバンドとほぼ同じメンバーによる来日ライブが収録されている。全員がソロでアルバムを出せるメンバーだけあってスケジュール調整が大変だったらしく、実はこのライブは本国アメリカでは実現せず、日本でのみ実現したといういわくがある。なぜならこれだけのメンバーにギャラを払えるのは日本のスポンサーだけだった・・・

それだけに彼らの演奏はすごい。練習時間などそんなにとれなかったはずなのだが、細部に至るまで完ぺきなアンサンブルを聴かせる。またGRPレーベルの録音技術も素晴らしく、スタジオ録音と比べても遜色の無い音質でライブが再現されている。

個人的にはパワー全開の４、アルバムには未収録でトランペットのアンサンブルが見事な６がお気に入りだ。最後にデイブ・グルージンによるメンバー紹介が聞けるのも嬉しい。
