のどかな癒し系の1枚のつもりで買いましたが、特にソナタイ長調が聴くほどに素晴らしく、大事な仕事で1発勝負の日は、朝早く起きてこれを聴いてから出陣します。頭の中にこの音が響いていると力が湧いてくるので。クレーメルのヴァイオリンは最初から良かったのですが、最初は何でもなく聞こえていたピアノ、実は凄かったんです。

1990年1月ベルリンで録音。ピアノはヴァレリー・アファナシエス。既に多くのヴァイオリン・ソナタをマルタ・アルゲリッチとの競演で残しているクレーメルがシューベルトの録音で彼女を相棒に選ばなかった。つまりクレーメルはこのソナタのピアノに『バトル』ではなく没個性的な演奏を求めた事が分かる。二人はどちらも1947年生まれで同い年でこの時43才。同じ旧ソ連邦の出身、ということでクレーメルとしてはこの曲の相棒に最適であり、自分のヴァイオリンがまさに円熟期に入ったことを感じていたと思える。

このアルバムの中で特に『ヴァイオリン幻想曲ハ長調　D934』の演奏が特に名演である。おそらくクレーメルの演奏の中でも3指に入ると思える。シューベルト特有の不完全さや間に不規則に入る『間』が例えようもないほど素晴らしい。iTune等で聴いているリスナーはすべての曲間が等間隔になってしまう欠点があるが、実際は1曲目→2曲目には12.8秒、2曲目→3曲目には12.7秒が設けられている。その辺に注意して聴くと完璧だ。

美しい旋律と音色。一生もののアルバムである。
