   酔えば酔うほどに強くなるという秘伝の拳法「酔八拳」を四苦八苦しながらも修得し、かつて自分を侮辱した悪漢たちに披露する若きぐうたら男（ジャッキー・チェン）の奮闘譚。
   ジャッキー・チェンの日本初上陸ともなった記念すべき作品で、彼がかもし出す軽快でコミカルな舞踊的妙技の数々は、ブルース・リー映画群の後どうしてもマンネリの感を免れなかった1970年代後半のクンフー映画に新風を吹き込んだものとして注目を集め、以来彼が繰り広げていく拳法映画は日本でひとつのブームを築いていくことにもなった。風貌からしてユニークな師匠役のユアン・シャオティエンの存在感も、作品に大いに貢献。監督のユアン・ウーピンは後にハリウッドにアクション指導として招かれることになる。また本作製作から16年後、ジャッキー主演で『酔拳2』も製作された。（的田也寸志）

ご存知！ジャッキー・チェン出世作の拳シリーズの酔拳。
価格が安くなり再販される事が決まり非常に嬉しいかぎりです。

たぶん、以前発売されたメーカーと同じですので、このＤＶＤには吹替え版が無いと思います。
ジャッキーの声「石丸博也さん」も好きなだけに非常に残念…。

あと以前発売されたＤＶＤにもあった欠落箇所は、たぶん…改善されていないと思われます。
（以前、発売されたＤＶＤの欠落個所は一部英語音声で処理されていました。）

当時劇場公開された際は、オープニングが日本公開用に直され、
「拳法混乱＝四人囃子（歌）」
♪お前の目の前に奇跡の人がいる~楽園の使者、僕がいる~
という歌が流されて、大変印象に残っているのですが、ビデオ、
ＬＤ、ＤＶＤともにそのバージョンが一切収録されておらず、吹き
替え版のテレビ放送でしか、そのバージョンを見る事が出来ません。

テレビでも最近は再放送もほとんど無いので、年代によっては、
このバージョンを知らない方も多いかも知れませんね。
石丸博也氏の吹き替えも絶品ですが、お師匠役を吹き替えた、
小松方正氏も全くもってピッタリでした。
日本公開版、及び、吹き替え版の発売検討もお願いしたいです！

台詞が英語になったり広東語になったりと目まぐるしく入れ替わって商品として成り立っていません。なんだこりゃ状態です。Mr.Boo!と同じで広東語あっての作品だと思います。日本公開版は無理としても、香港の原版は入手出来なかったのでしょうか。若しくは石丸氏と小松方正氏の吹き替え版を収録して欲しいですね。唯一救いは成龍と黄正利の勇姿に再会できたことでしょうか。
