東急東横線の桜木町駅が廃業になったそうですが、それに仮託して恋人達の想い出と別れを歌ったゆずの曲です。
待ち合わせの場所に使っていた桜木町の駅での恋人達の想い出、悲しい別れ、そしてそれが「二人のためだよね」と思いながらも季節の変わり目には恋人を思い出してしまう切ない心、それでもそれを乗り越えて新しい道へ進もうとする主人公の気持ちを見事に描ききっています。
この曲が出た頃、自分も手痛い失恋をしまして、しかもけっこう曲と被るような部分も多かったので、最初に聴いたときはかなり胸が苦しかったのを憶えています。でも、何度も聴いているうちに今では失恋した自分への応援歌として聴けるようになりました。
まだ聴いていない方がいるなら、ぜひ一度聴いてみて欲しいと思います。

この曲は本当にいい曲だと思いました★☆
『きっとこれが２人のためだよね？』の部分は悲しい別れ
をしたあと、次の恋に踏み出す最初の一歩の言葉だと思いました。
そしてこの曲はもう付き合ってたころには戻れないけど、また笑って話せる時がくるさ。。。という意味の部分もあり一見暗い曲と感じるけど少し前向きな明るさも感じられます。
私の世代でこの曲を知ってる人がいないのがとても残念です。。。
とりあえずぃぃ曲なので皆ぜひ聞いて下さい☆★

「桜木町」はとても切ない歌詞なんですが、メロディが前奏からとても優しく、聞いていて暖かくなる曲でした。
松任谷さんがアレンジをされていて、独特なやわらかさがでているような気がします。
相変わらず、岩ちゃんの高音の声がとても響いていて、聞いてて気持よいですよ。

シュミノハバはとても岩ちゃんっぽい曲です（＾＾）特に歌詞が・・。

夢の地図は、ユウジンらしく、ライブでみんなが楽しく歌えそうな曲でした。

ゆずの暖かさと楽しさが両方楽しめる１枚です。
