デジタル・リマスター版になって画像もすっきり。香港版をお持ちの方には、これを機会に見直してみることをお勧めします。違った印象を持たれるかも。

ジョン・ウーの世界はハードな銃撃戦がつきもので、「そんなに弾を使わなくっても…」と思わずにはいられませんが、この作品はそれ以上にトニー・レオン、ジャッキー・チュンの演技が素晴らしい。二人の厚い友情にも心動かされます。

この作品がデジタル・リマスターで再発売はうれしい限りです。
友情、愛、裏切り、悲惨な戦争、友人の死、復讐と
ジョン・ウーが今まで描いてきたのもすべてが凝縮されてる気がします。
銃撃戦やカーアクションなど見せ場もたくさんありますが
終盤のトニー・レオンとジャッキー・チュンは号泣ものです。
未見の方は是非観て下さい。

戦争なんて最低だ・・・。

救いがなさすぎるストーリー・・・でも、それがよかった。

この作品でジョン・ウー監督の底力を見た。
「男たちの挽歌」を完全に凌駕しています。

トニー・レオンも、ジャッキー・チュンも、そして裏切り者のレイ・チーホンも、
最高の演技だった。　３人揃って、この作品での演技がベストだと思う。

とにかく悲しすぎる結末に、あなたは耐えられますか・・・？

僕は泣きました・・・。
