以前職場でhp製のA4ノートを使っていたときのキーボードの貧弱さ（ぺこぺこ感）で不安がありつつも購入しましたがnc4010では十分に堅固でした。
novacのNV-ST3800XUでUSB CDブート可能なことを確認しました。
512MBのRAMを追加しましたが、通常作業でスペック的に支障をきたすことはないように思います。
タッチパッドのON/OFFがハードウェアで行えないのと、ごついACアダプタが少し残念ではありますが、満足しています。メインマシンとして長く使いたいと思っています。

B5ノート購入でthinkpad x31,thinkpad x40,hp nc4010と比較して随分悩んだ末に性能と価格のバランスに魅力を感じて購入しました。実機を見たことがなかったため不安も感じましたが問題なさそうだったので注文しました。今日配送されてきた実機はボディの質感や画面の明るさは十分満足できるものでした。pentium M1.5Gですが普通に使う分には何の不自由も感じません。液晶のヒンジ部分はやや固めの印象であり、キーボードの剛性も結構あります。タッチしやすいと思いますが、thinkpadに比べるとやや固めのタッチかと思います。サブノートとして購入して良かったと思います。長く使えそうです。

5.0 out of 5 stars 運が良かった！？, 2005/1/4
CPUはPenM1.5Gですが、自宅でも仕事でもぜんぜん問題なく使えます。
でも、メモリは256MとXP使うにはちと少ないので、
前のパソの512Mメモリを足してます。

ポイント・スティックのおかげでホームポジションから手を離さなくていいのもいいですね。

今ではすっかりメインマシンです。
