「裸のラリーズ」って銘打たれればなんでも素晴らしい！って？？？
DISC1はラリーズのかけらも感じられません。確かに貴重な音源ですが。
これをラリーズ初体験のテキストとしないように御願い致します。
「これがラリーズか・・」なんて思う不幸な人が増えませんように。
現時点で唯一の入手可能な「HIROSI伝説」の方を先に聞いてください。
できればオフィシャルの［77Live］をなんとしても入手して欲しいです。
これを聞くと音楽感変ります。

いろいろと神話化されているラリーズの珍しい音源だ。水谷孝のディレイのかかったギターと森下のシンセサイザーがねじれるように闇のかなたへと聞くものを誘う。従来のラリーズを知る者からすれば、意外な演奏だろうが、ここにはサイケデリックはもちろん、ノイズはおろかアンビエントの原型もあり、ラリーズとその周辺がいかに早くから突出していたかが理解できた。やはり水谷はただものではない。
Disc2のイエローのライブは荒削りだが、その独特のノイズギターとドライブ感はあのヒッピーと革命の時代を彷彿とさせ興味深く聞けた。
とかくはっぴいえんどあたりが取りざたされるが、フォークロックとは異なる真のロックのビートを身近に感じた。

伝説の伝説の･･･なんて騒がれてる裸のラリーズ。伝説がなんぼのもんじゃい!!ってことで買いました。ラリーズ初体験。
このCDに収録された音源のみでラリーズを語るのは憚れますが、興味を持っている人の為に、拙文を。

音楽的に言うと、正にサイケデリック。これが日本のバンドなんかいな!?ってな位サイケでびっくりしました。この音楽をロックに当てはめていいのか困惑します。ロックより音響系、現代音楽密教音楽を聴いてるような気になります。瞑想、トリップ、宇宙に飛びたい人向け。脳内麻薬出ます。
部屋でお香焚きながら爆音で聴きたい。

森下さんの解説と71年から75年の日本、海外の音楽の出来事、事件、風俗、世相等を書いた解説がついており、日本ロックの黎明期の背景を知る上で貴重な資料になるかと思います。
伝説を擬似体験できるこのライブ盤に本当に感謝。素晴らしい。名盤!!
