5.0 out of 5 stars コロムビア秘蔵のGメン・サウンドを凝縮した１枚, 2004/6/23
75年~82年まで放映された人気番組『Gメン'75』のオープニングやエンディング用のヴォーカル中心に構成したアルバム。かつてバップから３枚リリースされた同番組の音楽集だけでは物足りなかったファンにとっては、またとない嬉しい企画だ。

今回のマスターテープ捜索で新たに発見された貴重な未発表ヴァージョンも多くCD化され、全24ページのブックレットには番組の放映リストと共に、アルバム収録楽曲が第何話から使用されたか一望できる詳細なデータを掲載。各曲を解説した文章とも併せ、読み応えたっぷり。

デジタル・リマスタリングで音質も過去コロムビアより発売された「シングル・コレクション」よりも遥かに向上している。
ブックレットの解説によると、今回収録を見送った曲共々、まだ世に出ていないGメンの音楽が豊富にあるという。今後のリリースにも期待したい。

高島幹雄＆早川優の最強タッグが組んだマニア納得の最強サントラ盤。テレビサイズ楽曲とレア楽曲の充実ぶりが嬉しい。両氏の作品への愛情というものが伝わってくる（つまり、この作品のファンと同じ目線ということ）。解説書の詳細な記事も「痒い所に手が届く」的なもので、満足度120％。この内容でこの値段。買ってがっかり、という言葉は、このサントラに限って言えば全く当てはまらない。もちろん、ビギナーの皆さんにとってはGメンの音楽世界の入門編（テーマ曲集だから当然かな？）として聴いてもらえると思う。

伝説の刑事ドラマ「Gメン'75」の主題歌、テーマ曲の、レコードヴァージョン、TVサイズ、歌なしのBGMアレンジ曲などを徹底収録。
とくに、レコードヴァージョンは『デジタルリマスタリングの高音質収録』で音がいい！
加えて、「レクイエム」のしまざき由理ヴァージョンなど、レア音源も収録。
７年間にわたり放映された同番組の歴代の主題歌に触れることで、ドラマの雰囲気にどっぷりと浸かることができます。

また、全355話の各回で使用されたエンディングの種類・ヴァージョン違いについて詳しく記述された全放映リスト、
編集責任者のファンの視線で製作したマニアックな姿勢は、本当に評価できると思います。

但し、ソニー音源の「ウィング／夏木マリ」とビクター音源の「アゲイン(黄金色の嵐)／ピエール・ポルト・オーケストラ」の２曲のみ権利問題から未収録。
（コロムビア・オーケストラによる「アゲイン」は収録している。どちらも番組で使用。）
これらは1994年発売の「Gメン'75シングルコレクション」に収録されていますが、そちらは『デジタルリマスタリング収録』ではないので、非常に残念。
この「Gメン'75シングルコレクション」も、まだ購入可能なので、ここは両方揃えるしかない！
