このアルバムは最高です！ｗ
まず、１曲目からはじけてます。本当に。洋楽をはじめて聴く人でもこの良さは分かるでしょう。この、渋さがまたいいんですよね。大人のロックって感じで最高です。ガンズ時代も良かったが、今もかなり良い。こんな良い曲を作れるなんて・・・・

いい意味でガンズらしさはさほど感じられない。スラッシュのギターソロは健在だが、音楽性で言えばリフを主体とした曲作りは当時対極に位置したグランジ勢からの影響を感じさせる。そのことはシングルでニルヴァーナをカバーしていることからもうかがえる。人気バンドで度重なる騒動、話題先行さ故、彼らを毛嫌いしている音楽ファンもたくさんいらっしゃると思いますが、そんなあなたにこそこの作品をオススメします。なにしろ私がその一人でしたから。
余計な先入観無しで聴いてみてください。これこそロックのマスターピースです。

ビックリするくらいレビューが無くて驚いたのですが
正直Velvet Revolverにいるくらいなら、ストーンテンプルパイロッツに戻って欲しい。
(スコットは本当に戻ってしまいましたが)
Velvet Revolverをやるくらいならガンズに戻って欲しいっていうのがありました。

実際にこのリリースされた2作を聴くとスコットの良さ、
ガンズの演奏隊の良さとか滲み出ている。

それだけにやっぱり元のバンドに戻った方が良くない？？
って何度聴いても思ってしまった。

どちらかというと演奏がガンズ寄りなのでガンズが好きだった人はハマるかも。
けどストーンテンプルパイロッツのあのスコットの枯れ気味の声が好きな人もハマるかも…。
