今回のアルバムはメローな雰囲気のＲ＆Ｂを中心に構成。
西海岸HIPHOPの雄Snoop doggを迎えてのI wanna thank yaはアップテンポで何とも楽しい感じでいいが、やはり彼女の大人な雰囲気の深みのある声はメロー系R&Bの方が合っていると感じた。深夜のドライブにまったり聴いたりするには文句なし。是非スローR&Bが好きな人は聴いてほしい。

PVで気に入った(2)欲しさに買って、そのまま放置してましたが、最近初めて全部通して聴いた所、恐ろしくよくできたアルバムである事にやっと気づきました（スイマセン）。

(2)は今が旬のJAZZE PHAプロデュースで、もちろんこれはキラーチューンなのですが、似たようにスムースチューンとしては(11)もオススメできます。シングル化希望したいです。
また、(8)(9)(10)等のソウルネタ使いのメローナンバーも、ネタを上手く消化しており、ANGIEのボーカルによくマッチしてます。
(7)と(13)のインタールードもフルレングスにしないのが持ったいない程のトラックです。

個人的なベストトラックは(14)。アルバム全体の透明感溢れるサウンドを凝縮した名曲だと思います。

これからの季節にはピッタリのアルバムなので、異性と二人で暖かい部屋で聴くと、優しい気持ちになれそうです。そういう用途としてもオススメします（笑）。

後、何故かベースの音色がよい（コンプのかけ具合が絶妙？）曲が多かった気がします。エンジニアかミキサーのおかげなんでしょうかね？

D'Angeloとの絡みでも有名なR&B界のゴッドマザー、Angieのニューアルバム。何といっても話題はSnoop Doggをフューチャリングした先行シングル(2)か。この組み合わせは全く想像できなかったが、でもHipHop界からも熱いラブコールを受けることは想像に難くないAngie姐さんなので、これはこれでありでしょう。なんといっても楽曲自体がスムーズでメロディアスなGroove感たっぷりの仕上がりだったので、文句は全くなし。アルバムのいいポイントになっている。単々と進むビートがHipHopを感じさせる、それでいながらボーカルの熱さが際立つ(3)、Missyプロデュースという度肝を抜く組み合わせが吉と出たソウルフルな(4)、フィリーな雰囲気がなんとも気持ちいい(5)、HipHop Soul的ブレンド感が出た(6)と、前半はバラエティーに富んだ、それでいながら散漫な印象は全く受けない密度の濃い楽曲が続く。そして中盤から後半にかけては、Angieの本領発揮といった、ディープな楽曲が連続して続く。ソウルを感じるとはこういった楽曲で顕著。中だるみ感が皆無といえば嘘になるが、でもアルバムのトータルのバランスは取れている。リミックスでHipHopアーティストともっと絡んでいけばまた違った側面が見れそうな感じ。ゴッド姐さんはまだまだいけます。
