   日本テレビ系で2004年4月期に放送された、安倍なつみ主演の連続TVドラマ『仔犬のワルツ』のオリジナル・サウンドトラック盤。野島伸司が企画を手がけたこのドラマの音楽を担当したのは、NHK『日本 映像の20世紀』のサウンドトラックで名高い千住明。『高校教師』や『家なき子』など、野島関連作品での起用も多い。

   ドラマはけれん味たっぷりで破天荒な展開だったが、サントラのほうはオーケストラ・アレンジの本格的なスコア集といった趣で、スケール感ある1枚となっている。ドラマのキー曲である「Gloria -希望の光-」は4バージョンで収録されており、ドラマティックなメロディをさまざまな味付けで堪能できる。（安川正吾）

ＧＬＯＲＩＡ~希望の光~は、全て穏やかで綺麗でした。欲を言えば、最後にケンジの弾いたパターンが入ってて欲しかったかなっと。その他綺麗で、どこか悲しい音楽はドラマのシーンを思い出させて、なかなか良いです。

千住さんの作る音楽は心にしみます。ドラマの中のGLORIA~appassionata~（岡本健一さんが炎の中で弾いていた）に感動してこのCDを買いました。でもそのバージョンは入っていなかったので星４つです。ぜひこの曲もCD化してほしいです。GLORIAの他のバージョン始めどの曲もいいのでますます千住さんのファンになりました。
