5.0 out of 5 stars テーマごとに何を表現すべきか明確な“謝肉祭”, 2008/7/9
確かなテクニックと透明感ある美しい音色により、比較的ゆったりとしたスピードで、
一音一音かみしめながら丁寧に弾き込められている。
目まぐるしく変わるテーマごとに何を表現すべきかが明確であり、
各テンポがまったく乱れず、とてもわかりやすい解釈がなされているため、
聴き終えた後は爽快です。
ミケランジェリ亡き後、教え子の一人でもあった同郷イタリアのピアニスト、
ポリーニが弾いたらどのような“謝肉祭”になるのでしょう？というのが次なる興味です。

LP時代は私のカートリッジが安物だったせいか、この演奏の真価が今ひとつ分からなかったのです。「立派だけどどこか冷たい演奏だなあ。シューマンにはもっと情熱的なフロレスタンと幸福な瞑想に佇むオイゼビウスが必要ではないかしら?」。ところCDになって聞いてビックリ仰天。「ミケランジェリ神様の音」の重層性が初めて聴取され、重層的音響に込められた（立派なリズム処理とあいまっての）構造的意味が明らかになってきたのです。表面的に聴くと貴族的で冷たく窮屈に聞こえるかもしれない。しかし彼の構造的ピアニズムの謎にとっ捉まるとシューマンの音楽に内蔵されている凄い意味が啓示されます。必聴盤です。

透明感の高さが細かい表現を浮き立たせ、まるでそこで演奏しているように生々しく感じられます。
決して冷たい演奏ではありません。
曲の良さ、演奏の良さが、音楽の楽しさ、素晴らしさを伝えてくれる名盤だと思います。
