~国内盤は、ボーナストラックが入ってますがCCCD。パッケージの紙がつるつるです。

US盤は、届いてから知ったのですが、エンハンスドCD。Macでも見れます。
『The Sasquatch Dance』なるタイトルのモノクロのビデオクリップが入ってます。
雪の中をダンスしながら歌うビースティーズの三人が見られます。
全てのイエティ達に捧げられたこのビデオ、必見ですよ。

パッケージの紙も国内盤と違い凹凸のあるざらっとした質感の物で、
こちらは好みの別れるところかもしれませんが、価格の面から見ても私はUS盤にしてよかったと思っています。~

日本盤は随分特典が付くみたいですが、
Beastie Boys の人気を利用した不良円盤普及キャンペーンなので、
やっぱ輸入盤でしょう。歌詞を楽しめないのは残念ですが、
音だけでも十分楽しめる素晴らしい作品だと思います。

内容の方は、最初やや地味な印象を受けたのですが、
40分ちょっとというリピート上等な収録時間のため、

何度か聴くうちにすっかりハマってしまいました。
聴き馴染みのあるオールドスクールの要素が、
この新しい音の理解のための取っ掛かりになると思います。
革新的なのは毎度のことですが、これほど現役感のある
アルバムをオッサンが出せることに驚きです。嬉しいです。

なんか、音が、前作のような目新しさを感じない。衝撃的じゃなかった。こういう音が普通になってきてるからかもしれない。だからと言って悪いってことじゃなくて、聴いてて全然気持ちいい。リスナーの耳を捕らえて離さない音の出し引きの仕方を完全に会得している、という気がする。

前作での遊びっぷりが完全に消化されつつ、デビュー作のようなしつこくリズムとラップを積み重ねていくやり方が打ち出されている、と思う。
