「36.5℃」までのシングルのＡ面・Ｂ面の曲が全部入っているアルバムです。
みゆきさんの場合、シングルにしか入っていない曲も多いですし、
アルバムの先行として出た場合、アルバムではサウンドを変えたり、
まったくアレンジ自体を変えたりして収録したりすることもあるので、
この一組があるととても便利です。

ここでしか聞けないもの：（○は私のお薦め曲）
　１）6. 噂○、7. つめたい別れ、10. 100人目の恋人、
　２）1. あの娘、2. 波の上○、4. 忘れな草をもう一度、5. 誘惑、
　　　6. やさしい女○、8. 笑わせるじゃないか○、10. 杏村から○、12. 悲しみに、

86年に発売した時に購入したのだが、
現在はその時と比べて、半額近い価格で購入できるのは、
もう時代だと思ってあきらめることにしている。
しかし、そんなことが吹っ飛ぶくらい内容は良い。
収録されている曲は、75~86年なので完全に昭和の曲である。
昭和の年号に直すとS50~S61年まで。
この頃には、このCDを聴くユーザーは、
青春時代だったり、社会人だったり、
あるいは生まれていなかったり。
しかし、この頃描かれた、中島みゆきの詩や曲は、
どの年代が噛み分けても、味わいの深いものだと思う。
今の中島みゆきの歌と違って、内に崩れる一人称みたいな感じの
典型的な曲調が、非常に心の芯に迫るものがある。
もちろん、ヒット曲も結構満載で、
「悪女」「ひとり上手」「時代」もオリジナルで入っている。
ひとつでも知っている曲が入っていたら、
違う面を探しに、ぜひ聴いてみて欲しいCDである。

デビューした1975年の「アザミ嬢のララバイ」から1986年の「やまねこ」までの全20枚のシングルのA/B面を完全網羅したシングルスです。

ですので、当然「時代」(1975年発表時）、「わかれうた」「ひとり上手」「悪女」「誘惑」「あの娘」などのヒット・シングルや、スティービー・ワンダーが参加して話題となった「つめたい別れ」も収録されています。シングル・コレクションは他のアーティストでも、多数ありますが、中島みゆきの場合、B面もスキップすると勿体ないくらいの名作が多いのが特徴です。個人的には、「波の上」「どこにいても」「ホームにて」「傷ついた翼」「杏村から」あたりが大好きです。アルバム未収録も多く、3枚組でこの価格は超お買い得です。
