   コミカルな2頭身のキャラクターを操作するプロ野球ゲームに2004年前半のデータが反映されている。大好評のサクセスモードに加え、野球人生を満喫するマイライフモードや球団経営するペナントモードも充実している。

   前作『パワプロ10超決定版』から約1.7倍とモーションパターンが増え、固有選手のフォームやくせのある動作が数多く再現されている。また今回のサクセスモードの舞台は大学野球となるが『パワプロ6』の大学野球編の時の数年前が今作の設定となる。さらにパワーアップしたマイライフモードでは一人のプロ野球選手として入団から引退までの20年間を体験することができる。恋愛や結婚、家の購入などのイベントや人間関係にも気を配りたい。

   さらにペナントモードでは球団を運営しながら日本一を目指すのだ。チームを分析しスカウトにより戦力を補強しチームのスローガンを掲げて自分流の改造をして行こう。（岡田幸司）

パワプロ13や12をやっていると、なぜかまた11がしたくなります。サクセスの楽しさもそうでしょうが、リアルな野球でないところが好きです。12や13からパワプロを買ったという人はぜひ11も買ってほしいです。

パワプロ１１では内角球は引っ張り・外角球は流し打ちすると打球がよく飛ぶので、この作品以前の全部引っ張り打法というのが改善されたのがとても大きいです！
ミート打ちも強化になり、ミートカーソルが大きい打者の役割が格段に増しました。

この作品は引っ張り打法の改善・ミート打ちの強化で初心者にやりやすくした作品かとおもわれがちですが、（スローボールを投げるモーションが遅くなったり）「ミット移動無し」でやる上級者にとってもやりやすくなった作品です。

キャラの動きが更にリアルになった。
特に選手の固有モーションの追加です。現時点で分かる範囲の物。
巨人=清原デットボール避けない。
巨人=シコースキー腕ぐるぐる回す。
阪神=金本の固有打法。
阪神=赤星の固有打法(修正)。
日ハム=SHINJOの固有打法(バットを高く突き上げる)。
他の選手も楽しみですね！！
