マットとしては十分な機能だと思います。絨毯上直では起きてしまう「当たりの痛み」が無くなりました。また、折りたためるので未使用時の収納は巻き取りタイプより数段上だと思います。
ただ、他の方もおっしゃっていますが開封直後の化学糊？のニオイは「強烈」でしたね。。。３日ほど使用せずにベランダで風通したら「まぁ許容範囲」になり、現在２週間程経ったところですが「気にならない」レベルになりました。生産ロットによる突発的な不具合かもしれませんが、購入検討している方は覚悟しておいた方が良いでしょう。
でも、通っているトレーニングジムの備品入れ替え後にも同じニオイを感じたので、この手の商品は仕方がないのかも知れませんね。

みなさんが指摘している通り、開封時、有機溶剤の匂いがします。＜←難点＞
（この匂いは、今使用しているエクササイズボールの購入当初にもありましたが）マットを外に２日干していたら、ちょっと気になる程度に、５日干していたら気にならなくなりました。

＜利点＞
（１）折りたためて付属のベルトで固定して、肩掛け用の紐もついています。収納にも場所とりません。

（２）マットの硬さは硬すぎず、柔らかすぎず、お尻も痛くなりませんし、片足でバランスをとるときにも不安定になることもありません。

私は匂いに敏感ですが、使い始めて１週間経ちましたが、匂いはほとんどなくなりました。

初めの匂いがなければ、５つ星だったです。

張り切ってワークアウトＤＶＤをかったものの、フローリングの部屋ではひざ、背中が痛い痛い。そこで、いい物ないかと調べたら、これ！薄くて軽くてコンパクト、折りたたむと持ち手も出てくる。かなり重宝しています。これで、エクササイズも続きそうです。
