これは驚きましたほんとに。
歌がアホのレベルに達する上手さです！
どうもVision Divineはプロジェクト色が強くて、インパクトが薄かったですがラビリンスのキーマンであるオラフトーセンが、専念ということで曲も素晴らしくなっています。
冒頭にも書いたように新ボーカルのミケーレルッピは凄いです。
ANGRAのエドゥファラスキや元Fair　Waringのトミーハートなどの声が好きな人は間違いなくハマれますね。
スラッシュスラッシュしたのが好きな人にはお勧めできませんが、アルバム一枚で長く楽しむには素晴らしき作品です。

元LABYRINTHのギター、オラフ・トーセンが現RAPHSODYのヴォーカリスト、ファビオ・リオーネと立ち上げたものの、今作の制作前にファビオは脱退。バンドの存在意義を問うた正に正念場の3rdアルバム。

新加入のメンバーはいずれも実力派揃いも、特筆すべきは新ヴォーカルのミケーレ・ルッピ。イタリアの業界筋では「無名の実力者」だったとの事だが、ハイトーンは勿論、中音域の歌いまわしに魅力を感じる。

アルバムは人生の意味を探す男が狂気に陥るストーリーを基にしたコンセプト作品となっているが、コンセプト抜きでも魅力的な楽曲とミケーレの歌がリスナーを十分に惹きつける作品となっている。
楽曲群は欧州メタル色が濃く、キャリアや人脈から見受けられるイタリア色のイメージから、このバンドを敬遠しているメタル・ファンにも十分アピールするだろう。

このバンドの来日公演を切に願う。

新VoのMichele Luppiがすごい！
イタリアンメタルではLABYRINTHのRoberto Tirantiが大好きなのだが、彼に匹敵する実力。
アルバムとしてもプロローグ1の印象的なフレーズが所々にあらわれ、ラスト14でドンとくる展開が個人的にツボ。
Olafのピロピロギターは相変わらずだが、バンドとしてこちらに専念したのは正解(LABYRINTH的にもね)。このまま続いていってほしいものだ。

もちろんヴォーカル替えないで頂戴ね。
