　ニール・イネスの79年発表のソロ第3作目。78年、モンティ・パイソン（かの有名な英国のコメディ番組）から生まれたビートルズのパロディ・バンドThe Rutlesに参加した直後らしいオトで、あれが好きな人には絶対お勧めの良質のポップスが聴けます。

　とにかく「音楽をよく知っている」様子が伝わります。当時の流行のレゲエあり、ビッグ・バンドあり、ジャズ風の曲あり、ボサあり。僕としては諧謔精神・博識・多彩な音楽性という点で10C.C.と共通点が多いように感じました。

　2作目同様、マスター・テープの消失のためイネスのレコードを元にCDが作られたとの事で、オトがよくないんですよね・・・高いし。でも2000枚限定ですしねぇ。僕は買いましたけど。

新宿の某店で大枚はたいて買ったこのアルバムも、ようやくCD化。
ジャケットはへんてこりん（ある意味恐い）ですが、内容は文句なし。
日本だけでCD化される上に限定２０００枚とのことですから、お買い逃がしなく！　しかし、以前来日したときに発売されていれば、もっと盛り上がったのに。祈！再来日

　この盤は「ロック命」という人には少しとっつきにくいかもしれない。
「ヒット曲」を追いかけてきた人たちには少し重たいかもしれない。
散々ロックやヒット曲を聴きまくって、少し違うジャンルに手を伸ばし始めた人たちに手にとってもらいたいこれは「アルバム」です。トータルアルバムやコンセプトアルバムという言葉が陳腐に感じられるほど、このアルバムにはイネスの「音」に対する愛情が込められています。
　もちろんボンゾドッグバンドやモンティパイソン、ラトルズの一味として聴いてみるのもありです。
　紙ジャケットによる復刻も大変美しく、持っておきたいアルバムです。
　マスターテープ紛失のためアナログ盤おこしですが特に音質的に問題はありません。ただ紙製の内袋にＣＤが裸で入れられている点、内袋につかえてＣＤが取り出しにくい点は減点しておきます。「OFF THE RECORD」と「Rutland Weekend」の再復刻（紙ジャケで）も期待します。
