アルバムタイトルにあるように、"花"をモチーフにした曲が多いが、女性像としては「耐える女・忍ぶ女」そのせいか、ちょっと"和"な印象も受ける。
作家陣も、さだまさし・谷村新司・岸田智史・松本隆と（ルーツは）フォーク系ミュージシャン揃いなので、曲も派手なものインパクトの強いものはない。

それが物足りないような、このアルバムの良さのような・・・。
余談：帯のタイトルと名前が自筆なんだけど、字の上手さにびっくり！
