やはりメロディーがいいですね。アレンジが地味ですがいいかんじです。穏やかなのにせつない歌声がいい。個人的には、「トワイライト」、「ディ・ブレイク」、「出会えてよかった」が選曲されていれば最高だった。生涯来生ファンでいます。

「商品の説明」に「他アーティストに提供した曲４００曲の中から厳選した」とあるが、果たして本当に「厳選」されたものであったかは少々疑問。…でも！なんだかんだ言ってこの人、やっぱりすごい。軽快な「裸足で散歩」のような曲から「マイ・ラグジュアリー・ナイト」のような気怠い曲までバンバン書ける。しかも、それらどれもが「お子ちゃま」にはわからない、どこか必ずアダルトなムード漂う曲。ピアノもその曲に合った技法で奏でられる人。メロディー・メーカーの条件をすべて満たしている人だと思う。
個人的には「めざめ」（平井菜水に提供）、「裸足で散歩」（本人の曲）、「はぐれそうな天使」（岡村孝子に提供）、「ORACION‐祈り‐」（斉藤由貴とのデュエット）が非常に好き。特に「ORACION〜」はこの上ない名デュエットである。これはやはりベスト盤に入れて正解だろう。ベスト盤が多く出されている人だが、次にこのような企画をやるとしたら、もう少しコアな提供曲を入れて頂きたい。…でもなんだかんだ言って、たかおさん、大好き！
