私とまったくおんなじ年代ですね。こういう音楽の楽しさを共有してきたのですね。

１９６３年発売の｢マントヴァーニ・アメリカン・アルバム」
についてですが、たぶん、以下のＣＤで、入手可能と思います。
ぜひ、確認してみてください。

５７歳の私にはマントヴァーニは青春時代に繰り返し聴いたアーチストだった。このアルバムもいいけど彼のベストは独断と偏見で１９６３年発売の｢マントヴァーニ・アメリカン・アルバム」でしょう。Ａ面フォスターの名曲、Ｂ面アメリカ愛唱曲と聞くと子供の聞く音楽じゃないかと言われそうだが、アレンジ、演奏、録音とも素晴らしく、もうレコード盤は擦れ切れて聴けないがアルバムは捨てられないでいる。メーカーさん何とかこのアルバムもＣＤ化して復活してくれないかな。このアルバムは文句なしに星５つである。

青春の思い出の時期ですね。マントバーニをよく聞きました。ゆったりとした気持ちにしてくれます。新しいとか古いとか関係なく、いいもんだと。最近、忙しくないといけないように思うことが多く、でも、本当に生産性があがっているのかと。。ITを使ったからって、効率的になったのかなあ。録音のCDくささがなく、あの滝のようなカスケーディングストリングスが再生されます。まだまだ再発されるとか。うれしいですね。財産ですよね。
