AIのハスキーな声と本格R＆Bがかっこ良くて気持ちイイ！！
私のAIとの出会いはSUITE CHICで安室ちゃんとのコラボで初めて知り手に取りました。
R&Bもこの頃からR&Bに興味を持ち始めたので、これを聴いたときはホントにかっこ良くて感動しました。

やっぱりAIは「STORY」で売れたからバラードが人気なんでしょうか？？「STORY」以降はバラードが多い気がします。私はノリノリのR&Bダンスナンバーが好きなのでこの「2004.AI」はかなりハマりました。もちろんバラードやスローテンポの曲もあって聴かせてくれます。半分くらいかな？
このアルバムでは「After The Rain」とかは美しバラードです。

でも、個人的に好きな曲は、「EO」「100％」「無限」「Watch OUT!」などなど。

個人的にバラード以外の曲はほとんどハマりました！！カッコいい！！間違いない！！

AIの好きな音楽をぶつけたアルバムだと思います！！！！

進化を続けるAIのニューアルバム。タイトル通り2004年を存分に感じられるシングル曲(2)でアルバムは幕を開ける。スリリングな展開とパワフルなAIのボーカルとが最高な形で結びついたHipな曲。かっちょいい。オーソドックスなバラード(3)でもAIのボーカルは冴え渡る。ベタなメロディーなのに聞くものを飽きさせないのはボーカルの力があるからこそ。サンプリングが茶目っ気たっぷりなGroovyナンバー(4)も楽しいし、音数の少ない曲の中で自由自在に曲を操るようなAIのボーカルが堪能できる(6)も気持ちいい。シングルのカップリングで既にリリース済の(7)も、ビートがタイトでそれでいながらサビでの爆発的な展開が痺れる。こりゃかっちょいいです。ポップなメロディー展開が逆にアルバムにアクセントを与える(8)もなかなかの仕上がりだし、美しい(11)(14)もAIの新たな一面を見せることに成功している。ラジオで話題のAFRAとTUCKERをフューチャリングした(12)も、70年代の雰囲気をプンプンさせたファンキーな一曲で面白いし、アルバムがバラエティに富んでいて楽しい。方向性としては、USのR&B至上主義というよりは、Japanese R&Bの道を模索しているような感じ。でもヘタにかぶれてる人よりもよっぽど潔い。このボーカル力もほんとに逸材といっていいほどのレベルだし、今後の更なる進化に更に期待。
