このアルバムは確かにさださましのカバーであるが、地味な曲も含めて良く考えられた選曲。ヒット曲の単なる羅列を避けた事により、グループに「さだ」の色がつく事を最小限に留めている。そのため、特にさだまさしファンでない人には、さながらオリジナル盤のような趣もある。彼らを知らしめる名刺代わりとしても良い企画であり、全体的にさだの楽曲のもつ質と彼らの実力が見事にマッチした名盤。歌い方には、今流行のゴスペル系やＲ＆Ｂ系に見られる（日本語には不向きな）不自然な崩し方が無く、オリジナルメロディに沿って素直でとても美しい。テクニックの過度なひけらかし等も全くなく、歌に対して真摯で誠実な姿勢が感じられる。聴き方は、朝でも夜でも、ＢＧＭでも聞き込んでも、何にでも合う良くできたアルバム。これはアカペラという人間の声だけで構成されたものの持つ魅力だと思う。老若男女全ての方にお勧めです。

一曲聴き終わるたびにほんわかした温かい気分になれます。
チキガリ好きの方・アカペラ好きの方・さだまさし好きの方に限らず、いろんな人に聴いて欲しいCDです。

「チキンガーリックステーキ」と聞いたまず思いつくのは、食べ物でしょう。私もそうでした。でも、今は違います。「アカペラの…」とすぐ思います。とにかく聞いてみてください。心に染みます。さだまさしファンでなくても、音楽好きな人なら必ず「チキンガーリックステーキ」にはまるはず。とにかく聞いてみてください。本格派のアカペラです。１回聞いたら、絶対に忘れられない歌声です。本当です。とにかく一度自分の耳で確かめて下さい。いい歌声です。
