叙情的名作”Islands”発表後にRobert Frippに解雇されたPete Sinfieldが、（多分）我が侭を無理無理通して制作した最初にして最後のソロアルバム。とは言っても、優秀なミュージシャンと深い交流を培ってきたのだからアイディアさへ良ければ悪い作品になるはずが無かった。その意味ではPete自身は満足したのではないか。自分の（歌詞はともかく）音楽を認めようとしなかったR. Frippへの挑戦状的意味合いをも持つのだが、勿論Frippさんは無視しただろうし、この観点から言えば肩透かしをくらっただろう。いずれにしても、PeteがKing Crimsonで心底やりたかった音楽は、こうした理知的で暖かい、しかも少し陰の有る（そう、一言で言えば英国的な）音楽だったに違いない。歌詞を読むだけでも求める価値のある貴重な一枚。

　初期KING　CRIMSONの作詞家の‘７３年発表のソロ・アルバムで、KING　CRIMSONのメンバーも多数参加している。
　しかし、内容は、プログレではなくフォークで、本人のヴォーカルに相応しいリラックスした、実に穏やかな内容である。

　丁寧な作りではあるが、KING　CRIMSONという看板がどうしてもチラついてしまい、そうなるとあまりにも刺激のなさ過ぎる、つかみ所のなさが浮き彫りになってしまう。
　ただ、質は決して低くないし、また違った側面を垣間見られると思えば、それなりに味わいのある作品である。
