ハワイアン・スラック・キー・ギター若手ＮＯ．１と言ってよいマカナの気持ち良さ満載のＣＤです。スラック・キーのレジェンド、サニー・チリンワースの愛弟子であり、そのテクニックの確かさはただのユルーイ、ハワイアン・ミュージクとは一線を画しているといってよいでしょう。変則チューニングを多用するスラック・キー・ギターでのインストは押尾コータローを彷彿とさせる（スプラッシュとかあの辺）爽やかでいて、聴き応えのあるギタリストです。初めてライブを観た時は思わずテープを重ねてるのか、どっかにサイドギターでもいるんかいなと思うほどでした。ただし、そこまでのテクニックはライヴでしかあまりみせてくれません。このＣＤはむしろどこまでも甘く”神の声”を思わせるボーカルとメロディーの美しさに浸ってもらいたいです。いつの間にかあなたの心にしっかり刻み込まれ自然と口ずさんでしまう事間違いなしです。勿論！控え目ながらギターの響きの美しさに目を瞑ればあなたの部屋にハワイの風が吹いてくる事でしょう。
