２人組だったヒーロー側を一人にして新たな展開を見せるが
やはり内容はお馴染みのパターン。
大巨人にやられた三悪トリオが謝り倒す。
「罪を憎んで人を憎まず」と大巨人。
去っていった大巨人を見届けてから悪口をいいだす三悪。
ところが実はそばで聞いていた大巨人が「大激怒」。
ドクロのキノコ雲。
これが好きで好きで。毎週楽しみでした（笑）

私が小さい頃に観ていたタイムボカンシリーズで１番好きだったのが、
このヤットデタマンでした。
オープニングの歌や大巨神が何ともいえず好きでした。
もちろん、悪役３人組の毎度まいどの悪行（？）も飽きが来ず、
毎回どんな展開になるのか期待していたものでした。

今となっては確かに映像的には古いかも知れませんが、
内容は今でも楽しめるものだと思います。
