 「巨大ロボットもの」の元祖とも言える、横山光輝の「鉄人28号」を新たにアニメ化した2004年版『鉄人28号』のサウンドトラック盤。音楽を担当しているのは、映画『黄泉がえり』や『日本映像の20世紀』で知られる千住明。この人選は大正解で、今回のアニメ版が目指しているノスタルジックかつドラマティックな世界観は、なるほど千住サウンドの真骨頂だ。中でも鉄人のテーマとも言える「それ行け鉄人」（M-01）や「蘇る無敵の兵士」（M-18）あたりは、アドレナリンをかきたてられつつも思わず涙ぐんでしまいそうになる名曲だ。往年の主題歌を復刻カバーした「鉄人28号 Tvsize」（M-19）、「進め正太郎 Tvsize」（M-20）もお見事。（安川正吾）

リメイク版・鉄人２８号のサントラ集。
テレビサイズのＯＰ「鉄人２８号」とＥＤ「進め正太郎」も
聞き逃せないが、戦闘中の臨場感溢れるＢＧＭや
兵器として生まれた鉄人の悲哀を感じさせるＢＧＭが
レトロな雰囲気を醸しつつも耳に残る仕様となっている。
手に入れるなら今しかないだろう。

60年代アニメの名曲に驚くべき名演が誕生した。最近のアニメに見られないストーリー展開ももちろんだがその音楽にも惹かれた。リメイクというのは、なかなかオリジナルを超えるのは難しいし、ましてやオリジナルを見て育った方にとっては、なおさらだろう。作曲の千住氏については、失礼ながら正直よく知らなかったのだが・・・。がしかし、実によく書けているのである。１曲目「それ行け鉄人」はどうだろう、希望と元気が沸いてくるようなメロディに弦楽器を巧みに用い、シンバルの音を効果的にのせて、マーチ風でありながら、なぜか遠くノスタルジーを感じさせるのである。見事である。また、18曲目の「蘇る無敵の兵士」は、ロボットが暴れるときなどに使われる曲なのだが、暗く半音階的に進行するメロディがなんともいえない、物悲しさを側面に秘めた名曲となっている。そして、最後のＴＶ主題歌2曲も男声合唱で一新、おそらく歌っておられる方は、オリジナルを見て育った方もいらっしゃるのではないだろうか。実にいきいきと歌っているのが伝わってくるのだ。わずかな間奏部分にもＴＶの夕暮れの丘のシーンが浮んでくる。歌が生きている、そして音楽が生きているのである。オリジナルは歌詞の最後に「グ・リ・コーッ」とスポンサーが入るという、これもまた名演であったが、この際どちらがいいかなどという野暮なことは考えまい・・・　迷わず推薦します。

私は昔の鉄人を見た事はありませんが、このＣＤは本当に素敵です！
劇中に何度も使用されている曲ばっかりでその名場面が一気に蘇ってきます。正太郎くんや鉄人などの活躍を思い起こしながらこのＣＤを聴いてみるのもいいかもしれませんよ？
鉄人を知っている方も、まだ知らない方も楽しめる事間違いありません！
