オーストラりア出身、２６歳のデビューアルバム。
１曲目のＮｅｗＤａｙで彼女を知った人も多いと思います。
言ってしまえば普通のポップスなのですが、
ふつうに気持ちのいい曲を１４曲並べるというのはなかなかできることではありません。
スローテンポの曲には手を出さず、ミドル~アップテンポの曲を最初から最後まで並べ、それでいて急ぎ過ぎず。

そして温かみのあるヴォーカルと透明感のあるコーラスが加わって生み出されるのは極上の爽快感です。
晴れた週末の午前中にはこんなアルバムがぴったりです。

彼女の声を初めて聴いたのはラジオで。
車のエンジン音、ラジオ独特のノイズ、そういったモノと混在しながらも、
ステレオスピーカーから流れてくる彼女の声だけは、透き通ってました。
数多くの音楽を聴いてきましたが、彼女程美しい声の持ち主は初めて。
これはきっと、一度耳にすれば誰もが抱く感想だと思います。
曲の方もまさに彼女の為といった感じで、静かで爽やかで。
兎に角ヘビロテになる一枚に間違いは無いでしょう。

Track.01のNew Dayは邦楽女性アーティスト:Mizにカバーされてるそうです。
