   1999年製作の韓国ドラマ。全16話のうち、前半第8話までを収録。出世欲にとりつかれ、全ては金のためと割り切っているミンス（アン・ジェウク）。工場で働き、ミンスと同じように「愛は信じない」と公言するヨンジュ（キム・ヒソン）。実業家と富豪の娘と立場を偽ることで、お互い金目当てで付き合い始めた二人だったが、打算を超えて愛し合い始めた頃、二人に悲劇が襲い掛かる。不治の病という重い要素を軸に、真実の愛に目覚めた二人が思いを貫こうと努力する姿には、涙を流さずにはいられないはず。日本でいえば『愛と死を見つめて』を思い出させるほどに、あまりにも古典的に過ぎる設定ではあるが、だからこそ二人の想いが際立つ。（田中　元）

韓流ブームを巻き起こしたアン・ジェウクと韓国第一美女、キム・ヒソンの共演が話題の悲恋物語。一生に一度でも誰かを真剣に愛する事の喜びと切なさ…ちょっと出来すぎているストーリーに難はあるものの、敵役のチョン・ジュノの存在が秀逸。鼻持ちならない金持ちの坊ちゃんである彼が、主人公・ミンス（アン・ジェウク）をネチネチ追い詰める時のいやらしさは…たまらない＞_＜

　「星に願いを」でアンジュウクにはまり、ＤＶＤが届くのがとても楽しみでした。　「星に願いを」で舞い上がっていたので、ちょっと拍子抜けした感じもしましたが、涙ボロボロ☆とてもせつなくなりました。　日本の赤いシリーズを思い出すような、これでもか、これでもかといった内容なので…。楽しめます。

アン・ジェウク初観でしたが、ドラマの内容のせいか？かなり抑えた演技のする人なんですね。キム・ヒソンとくれば白血病、思わず他のドラマ思い出してしまいそうな、やはり暗く重い展開でしたけど、アン・ジェウクが上手く引っ張っていい感じでしたね。
共演のチョン・ジュノははまり役ですよ。おぼっちゃまで何不自由なく育ち全てを持っていても、アン・ジェウクにつねに劣等感を抱き、ネチネチ嫌味たっぷりの仕打ちの連続、韓ドラでは敵役の女優さんも結構すごいですけど、なかなか彼の演技も見ごたえありです。
ラストは想像出来る展開ですが、やはり自然と泣けてしまいました。
