ここ数年間、いつも金髪にボーダーのシャツという印象しか無い coba のベストアルバム第3段。毎度おなじみ「おしゃれカンケイ」のテーマをはじめ、TVやCMでよく耳にする楽曲のオンパレード。前2作同様、イイトコ取りの作品であることは間違いない。

「所詮はベストアルバム、どうせ以前に発売されたアルバムからピックアップだけなんだろう!」と思いきや、最近のQueen人気にあやかってか「伝説のチャンピオン」が収録されている所も興味深い。おまけに、ちゃんとcobaワールドになっていて、うーん、coba侮り難し。

coba マニアはもちろんであるが、cobaの曲をちゃんと聞いたことがないビギナーの最初の1枚にもどうぞ。

cobaのアルバムのなかで一番バラエティーにとんだ選曲です。何回きいても飽きないし、またcobaのすごさが分かるベストCDです。私としては、やっぱりお勧めは「霖雨 - リンユイ -」　チェン・ミンの二胡との絡み具合が最高です。

　ずっと探していた「六番目の小夜子」が聴きたくて買いました。
この曲についての詳しい情報は「http://www.nhk.or.jp/drama/archives/sayoko/」にあります。
2001年当時は「CD化の予定はありません」でしたが、ご覧のように収録されているのです。
他の19曲とは曲調も極端に異なり、異彩を放っています。

　それにしても、アコーディオンでこのような演奏が可能だとは思いませんでした。驚きです。
正直、今まではアコーディオンの音色はあまり好きではありませんでしたが、
そんな固定観念を打ち破るような素晴らしい演奏ばかりです。
